Salesforce Administration. I configure sharing rules, profiles, permissions, and Apps to control user access to data. I’ve implemented Salesforce Shield for advanced data security and maintain system health by conducting audits and security reviews using tools like Optimizer and AI-driven tools like SwanTide and Sweep. 

Salesforce Customization. I design and develop Salesforce components aligned with Salesforce design patterns, including fields, objects, workflows, validation rules, Flows, Apex Triggers and Classes, Lightning Web Components, and VisualForce solutions. I’ve migrated legacy process builders and workflow rules to Flows and Apex to align with Salesforce best practices.

        SALESFORCE SALES CLOUD WITH CPQ AND MARKETING CLOUD ACCOUNT ENGAGEMENT IMPLEMENTATION

        Streamlined their go-to-market operations; and significantly improved their processes and enhanced workflows for their rapidly growing sales and post-sales teams. The project was moderately complex, migrating from HubSpot to Sales Cloud with CPQ, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot), and integrations with their ERP system, NetSuite, and scheduling app, Skedulo, using MuleSoft.

        Tech engagement designed to enhance scalability, customization, and integration capabilities: migrated from PipeDrive to  Sales Cloud, and from Constant Contact to Account Engagement (+ Zoom for Pardot);  and integrated with Deltek VantagePoint ERP.

        SALESFORCE IMPLEMENTATION

        Migrated from Excel to Salesforce Sales Cloud, configuring lead and opportunity management to capture, track, and convert leads into sales opportunities, while also implementing program management to track clinical trial data.

        Before entering the Salesforce ecosystem, I built a strong foundation in business operations, marketing, and system integration across industries. These experiences now inform my approach to Salesforce consulting and optimization.
        Early Career: Financial Services and Investor Relations

        At Carreker Corporation, I advanced from Program Specialist to Director of Investor Relations, focusing on payment technologies and regulation. This role strengthened my expertise in financial systems, risk management, and client relationships. I built my very first “CRM” in my early days at Carreker, using Access database to manage memberships and annual events for the Electronic Check Clearing House Organization (ECCHO) while serving on the ECCHO Executive Direct staff. During my time as Carreker’s Director of Investor Relations, I completed the Graduate Finance Certification Program at Southern Methodist University COX School of Business.

        Scaling Startups and Driving Growth

        At TelOptica, a telecommunications startup, I implemented Salesforce and partnered with RevOps to streamline sales and marketing. This provided hands-on experience with CRM implementation and data-driven decision-making.

        Channel Management and Retail Expansion

        As Director of Channel Management at LifeWay Christian Resources, a $500M nonprofit, I expanded sales channels across 120 stores and 160 countries, sharpening my customer engagement strategies.

        Building Custom Solutions and Integrations

        At InService America, I developed new services for a $10M call center, including CTI integration with Salesforce and a custom SOAP API for inventory management. These projects deepened my skills in integrations and custom development.

        Transition to Salesforce

        With this foundation, moving into Salesforce consulting was a natural fit. Backed by 8 Salesforce certifications and 5-Star Ranger status, I now help organizations optimize their Salesforce ecosystems to drive efficiency and growth.

        After leaving the corporate world, I founded Home Team to help businesses with strategic planning and process improvement. One of my first clients was looking for a CRM to manage their sales, so I introduced them to Salesforce. I earned my first certification, and my business model changed.
